Prototype
Every DSP block starts as a Python prototype, where the maths is worked out before a line of plugin code exists.
Velora Audio makes mixing and mastering plugins. Anvil, our bus compressor, is the first — and it's free for everyone.
It started with wanting a bus compressor that felt right and not finding one we'd reach for on every mix. Anvil went through a lot of versions — the envelope follower alone took dozens — until it did what we wanted.
Everything with the Velora name on it has to clear that same bar before it goes out.

Every DSP block starts as a Python prototype, where the maths is worked out before a line of plugin code exists.
The C++ build is checked against that prototype sample-for-sample, so what ships matches what was designed.
It runs through pluginval at its strictest setting, across sample rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz.
The interface is reworked until nothing feels cramped and every control is obvious at a glance.
Spatial Mix Inspector is already in open beta. More mixing and mastering tools are in early development on the same DSP core — Anvil users hear about them first.
3D Mix Analyzer
See every track as a source in a 3D stereo field — loudness, spectrogram and masking — and mix by dragging sources in the room.
Mixing & mastering
A small, considered set of tools built on the same anti-aliased DSP core as Anvil. Paid releases — with launch pricing for early users.
Shape time, hold weight.
