Velora Audio is a small studio with one rule: a plugin ships when it's finished — not when the roadmap says so.
Why Velora exists
Most plugins are built to a feature list. We build to a feeling — the moment a mix locks into place, when a compressor stops being a tool and starts being part of the sound. Anvil took dozens of revisions to its envelope follower alone, because "good enough" isn't the standard when you're going to live on someone's master bus.
How we work
Every DSP block starts as a Python prototype, gets verified against the C++ implementation sample-for-sample, then validated at the highest strictness across every sample rate from 44.1 to 192 kHz. The UI is rebuilt until nothing crowds, nothing lags, and every control says exactly what it does. Then — and only then — it ships.
What's next
Anvil is the first of a planned family of Velora plugins that share one design language and one standard of craft. A reverb and a saturation processor are in early development, built on the same DSP backbone. No release dates — they'll arrive when they're right.
